Burger Chain Offers THIS To First Responders Of Houston Floods

As first responders in Houston continue to rescue people affected by days of devastating flooding in the Houston area, a burger chain has stepped up to support them in a practical and mouth-watering way.

On their Twitter page today, Whataburger welcomed all uniformed first responders in the Houston area a free meal today to support their life-saving work.

Way to go!

Whataburger already seems popular with some emergency personnel as 20-year-old Mikayla Marie Coyle made KSAT 12 news after she braved floodwaters in Katy, Texas to get her mother a Whataburger meal. Her mother, a nurse, had been working non-stop after she volunteered to help flood victims.

"She started crying. She was so excited about it," Mikayla reported.
