The brother of a missed and beloved singer, Selena Quintanilla, made a top 10 most wanted list, reported multiple news sources on August 1st. Selena Quintanilla was very well-known for her musical contributions of being a Mexican-American artist before she died at only 23-years-old years ago in Corpus Christi, Texas. Some of her top songs include "Dreaming of You" and "I Could Fall in Love."
She was especially popular with the Latino community after becoming a young and successful female Tejano singer, but was appreciated and loved by many. After her death, Jennifer Lopez starred in the movie “Selena,” telling the singer’s unique and memorable life story, which contributed to Selena's popularity among fans.
The singer was tragically murdered in 1995. She was shot by Yolanda Saldívar, one of her former employees and also a very close friend prior to her death. Saldívar is currently serving a life sentence in a Texas prison.
Selena’s brother, A.B. Quintanilla, was also known in the music industry. Selena, A.B., and their sister Suzette played together in a band called “Selena y Los Dinos” before Selena made it big. A.B. later started his own group called “Los Kumbia Kings” and is currently a member of "Elektro Kumbia." Unfortunately, the musician is now a wanted fugitive in Corpus Christi.
A Facebook post by a local sheriff’s office revealed his place on the top 10 most wanted list, which stated he is wanted for “contempt of court and nonpayment child support.” According to People magazine, A.B. has eight children.
A cash reward is available for information leading to his arrest. In other celebrity news, a former Major League Baseball star recently passed away.
