BREAKING: Trump Campaign Makes Massive Announcement

In a shocking move that is catching people off guard, Donald Trump said “You’re Fired” to campaign manager Corey Lewandowski on Monday.

The shocking firing comes less than 4 weeks before the convention in which Trump officially becomes the Republican nominee. According to Fox News, campaign chairman Paul Manafort will be taking over the reins of the campaign.  Trump’s campaign released a statement:

"The Donald J. Trump Campaign for President, which has set a historic record in the Republican Primary having received almost 14 million votes, has today announced that Corey Lewandowski will no longer be working with the campaign. The campaign is grateful to Corey for his hard work and dedication and we wish him the best in the future."

The cause of the firing is not yet known, however, the shakeup may possibly be a result of Trump’s lagging poll numbers.  In a majority of recent polls, Hillary Clinton has opened up a wide lead over Trump.
