Just 4% of votes have been counted in North Carolina, but so far Donald Trump has a bit of a lead.
According to The New York Times, Trump has captured 40% of the votes. Ted Cruz., who has his sights set on the state in the face of difficult wins in Florida and Ohio, is a close distance behind him with 34%. Kasich trails with 13%, and Rubio has 10%.
North Carolina has 72 delegates up for grabs but is not a winner-take-all state.
On the Democrat side, Hillary Clinton is moving ahead with 58% over Bernie Sander's 39%.
