Donald Trump needs to be disqualified from being the Republican presidential nominee. That is what Mitt Romney quite clearly just said.
Writing on his Facebook wall, the 2008 GOP presidential candidate bashed the current frontrunner of his own party for not releasing his tax return.
Romney wrote, "It is disqualifying for a modern-day presidential nominee to refuse to release tax returns to the voters, especially one who has not been subject to public scrutiny in either military or public service."
Romney then launched into the importance of tax returns for vetting candidates and said Trump currently being under audit does not prevent him from releasing them.
He then levied a hefty accusation, saying, "There is only one logical explanation for Mr. Trump's refusal to release his returns: there is a bombshell in them. Given Mr. Trump's equanimity with other flaws in his history, we can only assume it's a bombshell of unusual size."
Why do you think Mitt is still going after Donald when he's the only GOP candidate left? Is he making a good point?
