BREAKING NEWS: Governor Takes BOLD Stand Against Obama

Kentucky governor Matt Bevin boldly stood up today and announced that he's joining the lawsuit Texas filed against the Obama administration after a federal directive was issued recently that all public schools should open up girls bathrooms, locker rooms, and sports teams to males who self-identify as female. Governors from Mississippi, Oklahoma, Alabama, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Tennessee, Maine, Louisiana, Utah, and Georgia have also joined the lawsuit.

According to the Courier-Journal, Bevin said, “The federal government has no authority to dictate local school districts' bathroom and locker room policies. The Obama administration’s transgender policy ‘guidelines’ are an absurd federal overreach into a local issue.”

His Democrat attorney general, though, refused to join the lawsuit. Bevin berated him for refusing to stand up for local control over federal control.
