In the wake of Donald Trump's huge victory in Massachusetts last night, the state's Republican governor Charlie Baker has vowed to not vote for him in November if he becomes the party's nominee.
According to the Boston Globe, Baker was badgered by the media today to state his position on voting for Trump. When questioned by a reporter if he would vote for the Democratic nominee or a third party candidate instead or not even vote at all, Baker dodged the questions.
Then after giving his opinion on national politics, he stated that "the voters of Massachusetts did not elect me to engage and participate at great lengths in national and presidential politics. They elected me to serve as the governor of Massachusetts and to focus on the work and the people’s business here. And that’s what I intend to do.”
What do you think about what Gov. Baker said?
