Boys Band Together For Bullied Classmate

James Willmert, a 5th grader at Franklin Elementary School in Minnesota has a learning disability.  That has made him an easy target for bullying during the last school year.  James would not even want to go outside during recess for the fear of what he may face.

This year, five 5th graders (Gus, Tyler, Landon, Jake, and Jack) decided to put a stop to the bullying.  They banded together around James and made him a part of their group.  Now James can’t wait to go outside.  The boys didn’t stop there.  They didn’t just offer protection.  They changed a young man’s life.
