Billionaires, actors, and politicians who live in gated communities with large bands of armed security guards, love to tell the average American how they should be living. In addition to calling out the American people, they sometimes call out their fellow economic equal. According to Breitbart, a war of words broke out between Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Zuckerberg took a veiled swipe at Trump while addressing a conference audience of 2,000 people in San Francisco. “I hear fearful voices calling for building walls and distancing people they label as others,” Zuckerberg said. “If the world starts to turn inwards, then our community will just have to work even harder to bring people together.”
Trump’s campaign did not waste any time in responding and pointing out the hypocrisy of Zuckerberg’s statements. “I’ll take Mark Zuckerberg seriously when he gives up all of his private security, move out of his posh neighborhood and come live in a modest neighborhood near a border town,” Spokeswoman Katrina Pierson said. “Then I’m sure his attitude would change.”
Is Zuckerberg right or is Trump right?
