The work will be about the Revolutionary War. O'Reilly also discussed why he wants to write about the American . He told the Associated Press it is because the "American Revolution has not been covered "top to bottom."
Many people wondered if O'Reilly would continue to write books since being let go from Fox. Some feared that his publishers would also drop the media giant. However, Stephen Rubin, the president of O'Reilly's publisher, said they are "committed" to printing the next three "Killing" installments.
“We are totally committed to Bill, long-term. Why wouldn’t we be?” Rubin told the AP. “We have created the most successful adult nonfiction franchise in recent publishing history and we are thrilled to continue it.”
