Donald Trump stole the show last night at the second presidential debate, and one comment he made in particular about Hillary Clinton had the crowd roaring despite the ban on applause.
Regarding Hillary's massive e-mail scandal for which the FBI refused to prosecute her for, Trump began by saying, "I didn't think I'd say this, but I'm going to say it. And I hate to say it. But if I win, I'm going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation, because there has never been so many lies, so much deception. There has never been anything like it."
He continued to explain just how unprecedented and corrupt it is that Hillary has escaped prosecution. But the line that is being called the best of the debate came a short while later.
Hillary remarked, "You know, it's just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country."
"Because you'd be in jail," Trump immediately replied.
The audience roared with applause.
Mic drop. Boom.
Media analyst Mark Dice even said Trump "had, perhaps, one of the greatest comebacks in debate history."
