As The FBI Gives Hillary A Free Pass, We Remember What They Did Only A Year Ago

On Tuesday the FBI gave Hillary Clinton a free pass on her email scandal in which she passed top secret material through her personal unsecured server. Despite breaking federal law, the FBI gave Hillary Clinton a slap on the wrist and sent her on her way.

FBI Director James Comey faced the nation and told the American people that even though Hillary Clinton was careless with her emails and guilty of breaking the law they would not be recommending that she be charged with any crime. According to the Daily Caller, the FBI is operating under a double standard and have prosecuted people for far lesser crimes that Hillary committed.

Just last year, Naval engineer Brian Nishimura was prosecuted for inappropriately handling classified documents. He was found to have classified briefings and other digital records on an unauthorized hard drive when he traveled off base and was still in possession of them when he returned to the United States. Nishimura also admitted to destroying the classified material in his possession.

The FBI concluded that Nishimura did not have any intent to distribute the classified material in any way. Despite the FBI’s findings, Nishimura was stripped of all his security clearances, sentenced to 2 years of probation and forced to pay a $7,500 fine.

Do you think there is a double standard?
