President Obama and other Democratic leaders have continued to be outspoken advocates for bringing in hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees despite the recent terrorist attacks in Paris and San Bernardino.
Obama took aim at Republicans and conservatives who pushed for suspending the Syrian refugee program. He mocked the GOP for being scared of “widows and orphans.” Then the San Bernardino terrorist attacks blew egg all over Obama’s face. One of the attackers was both a woman and someone who recently came to America.
Former law enforcement officials have declared that it is not possible to properly vet and check the backgrounds of every refugee that Obama wants to bring into the country. Yet, still he persists. Now Congressman Michael McCaul (R-Texas), Head of the House Homeland Security Committee, has stepped forward with very troubling news that all Americans should be aware of.
According to the Hill, ISIS has sought to use the refugee program to gain a foothold in the country.
“ISIS members in Syria have attempted to exploit it to get into the United States. The U.S. government has information to indicate that individuals tied to terrorist groups in Syria have already attempted to gain access to our country through the U.S. refugee program,” McCaul said in a speech at the National Defense University.
McCaul said that he received the dire warning from people within the intelligence community but has not named his sources. “That was very courageous for them to come forward with this, to tell me about this personally, given the political debate on the hill,” McCaul said.
McCaul has vowed to fight against Obama’s dangerous policies and actions. “Over the coming weeks, we will introduce a slate of new bills based on the findings of the task force to keep terrorists from crossing our borders.”
