An arrest warrant has reportedly been issued for a well-known American actress, Rose McGowan. McGowan is best-known for her starring role in the series, “Charmed,” but has also appeared in several movies including “Scream” and “Death Proof.”

Before her arrest warrant, the actress has been in nationwide headlines recently in relation to the Harvey Weinstein scandal in Hollywood. She was one of the several actresses to come forward, revealing that Weinstein sexually abused her.

According to E! News, the warrant was issued for a felony drug possession charge regarding an incident that occurred earlier this year. In January, McGowan was investigated by authorities after she left personal belongings at the airport, which tested positive for narcotics.

The Daily Mail reported that it was cocaine, but that has not been confirmed.

This news comes shortly after she claimed she was offered $1 million to keep quiet about Weinstein raping her in a hotel room in 1997, stated the Guardian. She originally was planning to make a counteroffer for $6 million, but ultimately decided to share her story instead.

McGowan responded to the accusations on Monday, October 30th. She stated, “Are they trying to silence me? There is a warrant out for my arrest in Virginia. What a load of HORSES--T,” implying that the story is false and is somehow related to her involvement with Weinstein.

This story is developing and as of right now, little details are known. If more information is released, this article will be updated accordingly.
