At least 325,000 people have put down money to preorder the next electric car by Tesla Motors this week, according to the company's website. Hype for cars that don't require putting in gasoline to run is huge, but are you really being "greener" if you drive electric? In other words, is your new ride going to pollute the air less than a comparable gas car?
