Another one of the 19 Duggar children got married over the weekend. Joseph Duggar, 23, the seventh Duggar child, exchanged marriage vows on Friday.
Duggar married Kendra Caldwell, 19, in a ceremony at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Kendra and Joseph have been engaged since he proposed at his sister Joy-Anna's wedding in May 2017.
“It is an amazing feeling to be husband and wife,” the 23-year-old told People Magazine.
“It’s something that I’ve always dreamed of to have a wife and to raise a family in a way that honors the lord. We are to very excited to see what God has in the future for us.”
The beautiful bride wore a modest wedding gown, and the wedding colors included navy with hints of burgundy and soft yellow. They also opted for a “fun and festive” wedding reception held at the church’s gym. For the reception, the young couple served cupcakes, coffee, and salty snack food.
Joseph and Kendra had no shortage of people in their wedding party. In total, there were 22 people who joined them at the altar. Joseph's brother Josiah served as his best man. His brothers John David, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, and Justin also served as groomsmen.
Kendra’s sister Lauren was her maid of honor, and she had ten other bridesmaids including her mom and the groom’s sisters Jana, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joy, Johannah and Jennifer.
If you want to learn more about their wedding, there will be a TLC special on it next month. Congratulations to the couple, and prayers for a happy and holy marriage.
