America has lost another wonderful actress and singer. Anne Jeffreys, 94 years old, unfortunately passed away recently after living a long, healthy life and maintaining a very successful career in the spotlight.
Jeffreys’ acting career began early in the 1940s and has made several television appearances since her debut. She is best known for her roles in the popular 1950s television series “Topper” and 1980s-2000s show “General Hospital.” Most recently, she made a guest appearance on an episode of “Getting On” a few years ago in 2013, according to Variety.
New York Daily News reported that her death comes roughly 11 years after her husband’s death back in 2006. She was married to Robert Sterling, who was also a well-known American actor and singer.
Throughout her career, she has worked alongside other stars including Frank Sinatra, David Hasselhoff, John Wayne, and her husband. Off the screen, she was also a mother to three sons, which all came from her marriage to Sterling.
