The American public has been rocked by numerous scandals recently. Over the past few weeks, many high-profile figures have been accused of sexual harassment and misconduct.

On Wednesday, one of the most famous news anchors in America was terminated. Matt Lauer has been fired from the Today Show after numerous women revealed the harassment they endured from Lauer over the years.

After the news broke of Lauer's scandal, many celebrities and former anchors weighed in on the allegations. Ann Curry and Natalie Morales, former co-workers of Lauer, also commented on the news.

"I'm still really processing it," said Ann Curry, adding that "we need to move this revolution forward and make our workplaces safe."

Curry and Lauer also have a history together and many blame Matt for Ann's departure from Today. She is also rumored to be a contender to replace Matt in the future.

"The 'Today' show, of course, has been my family for 16 years now, and it is difficult — I think everyone is saying how difficult it is — to process the news," said Natalie Morales. "The story today is about the courage of a colleague, who did come forward," she concluded.
