America Has A New Baby Giraffe

America is welcoming it's newest baby giraffe after a mother in the Toledo Zoo gave birth to her new baby on Monday night.

As the nation waits eagerly for the birth of April's baby in the New York Zoo, this new arrival brought smiles to everyone's faces in the meantime.

The new baby is named Kipenzi, which means "beloved" or "precious" in Swahili. She is 67 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.

Zoo officials said she won't be on display for visitors until she's a bit older. The officials at the Toledo Zoo also said they chose not to live stream the birth because there are too many complications that could occur.

What do you think of baby Kipenzi?! Does this make you even more excited to see April's baby?
