Marissa Bibiano, a 5-year-old girl, went missing Wednesday night. An Amber Alert was issued in hopes of her returning home safely.
Marissa was wearing a black dress near her home in Belen, New Mexico. She has black hair, brown eyes, stands at 3 feet tall, and weighs around 40 pounds.
The young child is currently living with her grandmother and was abducted by her mother, Alicia Trejo, who has no custody. Marissa’s mom broke into the grandmother’s house while intoxicated, then escaped with her daughter.
Trejo is a 36-year-old, Native American female with brown hair, brown eyes, and weighs roughly 150 pounds.
Fortunately, she left with her daughter on foot and had no access to a vehicle.
UPDATE: Marissa Babiano has been found safely and her mother has been arrested under child abuse and battery charges. The child was believed to be in great danger, but the two were found just across the street.
Thank you for sharing this information and praying for her safe return home!
Praise the Lord!
