In recent years, people around the globe have started staying in Airbnb locations instead of fancy hotel rooms. The industry has seen major success in placing guests in custom accommodations.
Now, the company is doing something super cool! They have announced a contest where the winner gets a chance to stay in a house made almost entirely of Legos!
“People around the world can enter a chance to win an overnight stay at an Airbnb destination made largely out of Legos in Billund, Denmark — where the head office of the Lego Group is located, as well as a Legoland theme park. To enter, contestants must tell Airbnb and Lego what they’d build if they had an infinite supply of Lego pieces,” according to Time.
Guests will even be sleeping on a pile of Legos! However, their mates will be placed on top of the pile to ensure a restful nights sleep. Also, Airbnb is announcing they are going to fly the winners, for free, to Denmark.
While guests are excited to sleep in the Lego house, they will also have access to build creations of their own. The house is equipped with over 25 million pieces of Lego. The Lego Group is also located nearby in Denmark.
To enter the contest, guests will have to submit a statement detailing what their family would make if given the chance to build something with unlimited Legos bricks. The submissions must be made between Nov. 1 at 9 p.m. PT and Nov. 17 11:59 p.m. PT.
