Former congressman Anthony Weiner, husband of Hillary Clinton’s top aide Huma Abedin, has just pled guilty to charges relating to sexual explicit texts he sent to a teenage girl Friday morning.

After pleading guilty in court, Weiner now has to register as a sex offender and agreed to not appeal any prison sentence that is between 21 and 27 months.

Weiner’s wife reportedly filed for divorce later on Friday according to the New York Post.

The New York Post states:

“She brought an anonymous versus anonymous action in Manhattan Supreme Court Friday. She’s asking for the court to seal the case. The filing is uncontested meaning she is not expecting a fight over custody or the couple’s assets.”

As reported earlier, an investigation into his explicit texting also led to the discovery of numerous State Department emails from Hillary Clinton on his personal laptop, becoming a black eye for Hillary’s presidential campaign.
