Kathy Griffin made major headlines earlier this year after posting a controversial photo of her holding President Donald Trump’s decapitated head. She later begged for forgiveness by posting an apology video and removing the inappropriate photo. Her hope was to make a strong ‘political statement’, but many audiences, including liberals, thought her photo stunt was extremely inappropriate.
After the outrage, Griffin was fired from multiple jobs and has been put under federal investigation by the Secret Service. However, since then, she called Trump a ‘bully’ during a press conference and deleted the apology video from her page.
On June 29th of 2017, she continued to prove her apology no longer stands, as she bashed our president online. Her post comes after the incident between Mika Brzezinski and President Trump. Griffin said, “POTUS likes to punch down,” then criticizes his health care reform.
A few days earlier on June 27th, she commented on being under federal investigation. She stated on Twitter, “Hey, (I don’t give a F anymore) but @TMX & Harvey Levin may u NEVER b under fed investigation like I am now.” Along with her statement, she shared an article that discusses how TMZ gradually became a Trump-supporting media source.
