While vice presidential debates often don't get much press, the one between Republican Mike Pence and Democrat Tim Kaine Tuesday night was one for the ages, with Pence boldly giving his Christian testimony on national television and Kaine notable interrupting him 72 times throughout the event.
By even the mainstream media's liberal standards, Pence was the clear winner, appearing poised and presidential while Kaine simply looked belligerent and pesky.
Today on Twitter, according to New York Times reporter Thomas Kaplan, Kaine made a shocking admission, "I got dinged a little bit, even by my wife, for, like, interrupting too much."
Despite that, Hillary Clinton praised Kaine's performance immensely, and the mainstream media took her to task for it.
The Washington Post sardonically pointed out that Hillary elevated Kaine to the level of "Abraham Lincoln, Socrates, and Winston Churchill" with how much show lauded his performance.
Right after the debate, Hillary tweeted that she "couldn't be prouder" of him.
The Washington Post writer told her to not be silly. Kaine lost badly.
