67-year-old actor David Cassidy recently passed away at the end of November after spending days in the hospital due to organ failure. Cassidy was best-known for his starring role in the 1970s American musical sitcom, “The Partridge Family.”
In addition to “The Partridge Family,” Cassidy was a popular musician. He was featured in other musicals, on Broadway, and even had a top-charted single in the U.S. and other countries titled, “Cherish.”
Weeks after his death, unsettling information has emerged.
On Sunday, December 10th, news broke that Cassidy joined the many names in Hollywood being accused of sexual misconduct. Hollywood sex scandals have become the center of media headlines following the massive Harvey Weinstein scandal, where the infamous producer was accused of sexual assault by dozens of different women.
According to Page Six, a former model named Samantha Fox claimed Cassidy was a “first-class creep” who touched her inappropriately when she was only 19 years old. He reportedly followed the young model into a bathroom and groped her years ago in 1985.
Fox physically “kneed him” to escape the situation.
Fox, who used to be a big fan of the actor/musician, says she knew Cassidy through almost participating in one of his music videos. She agreed to go topless, but eventually became “disgusted” and “uncomfortable” around him.
Some of the details are graphic and will not be shared on Faith Family America. Thank you for your understanding.
This claim has not been confirmed to be true. As of Sunday afternoon, no other accusations have come out against Cassidy.
