A WILD New Theory Emerges As To Why Trump Won’t Release His Taxes

There has been much speculation as to why Donald Trump has not publicly released his tax records when all of the other Republican candidates have been forthcoming in turning over their documents to public scrutiny.

Trump recently said that he refuses to turn over his tax returns because he is currently under an audit by the IRS and claims to have been audited every year for the past 12 years. According to the Blaze, another top contender has a theory as to why Trump is withholding his tax returns.

Ted Cruz thinks that Trump’s business dealings with the mob in New York are the main reason why Trump hasn’t released his tax records.  “There have been multiple media reports about Donald’s business dealings with the mob,” Cruz said on Chuck Todd’s show. “Maybe his taxes show those business dealings are a lot more extensive than has been reported.”

Todd asked Cruz to provide specifics when making such an allegation.  “ABC, CNN, multiple news reports have reported about his dealings,” Cruz said. “For example, S&A construction, which was owned by ‘Fat Tony’ Salerno, who is a mobster who is in jail. It is owned by two of the major New York crime families. And that has been reported in multiple media outlets.”

Cruz also cited a report that mentions bribery and racketeering investigations Trump was involved in 1979 and 1981.

Trump supporters will be quick to dismiss Cruz’s theory as election season theatrics.  However, only the tax returns, once released will be able to quell the rumors and theories.
