‘Fixer Upper’ Star Chip Gaines Responds After Million-Dollar Lawsuit Filed

‘Fixer Upper’ star Chip Gaines is being sued by his former business partners and friends for over one million dollars for fraud.

The lawsuit claimed Gaines ‘conspired to eliminate his business partners’ and bought their shares of ‘Magnolia Realty’, the official Real Estate office of Chip and Joanna Gaines, for only $2,500 two days prior to ‘Fixer Upper’ was picked up by HGTV.

Chip responded to the lawsuit on Friday evening:

Gaines also tweeted bible verse John 1:5 Friday morning, almost immediately after information on the million-dollar lawsuit went public.

What do you think about Chip’s response to his friends filing a lawsuit against him? Do you think it could have been handled better?
