Brian was informed that he and his family would either have to leave the plane voluntarily or the rest of the passengers would have be escorted off until his family decided to disembark on their own.
Brian finally complied. He and his family were left to their own to purchase hotel lodgings for the night and new plane tickets for the next day. They were not offered a refund for the flight they were kicked off of.
Now Delta has released a brief apology, saying, "We're sorry for what this family experienced. Our team has reached out and will be talking with them to better understand what happened and come to a resolution."
