‘Anti-Trump’ Wins French Presidential Election


Emmanuel Macron won the French presidential election on Sunday.

Macron is a liberal candidate who was endorsed by former President Barack Obama.

He was also sometimes referred to as the ‘Anti-Donald Trump’.

Macron’s opposing candidate, Marine Le Pen, held republican values which President Trump praised, but did not endorse her.


According to other news sources, majority of the French did not want to elect a president that resembles Donald Trump.
