Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh had a few words about the release of the recordings featuring Donald Trump's crude sexual remarks and the ensuing outrage. Here's a quick summary:
I DON'T CONDONE WHAT TRUMP SAID
Rush said he's not excusing what Trump said back in 2005, but Trump's also not the only person to ever seek office who has said something similar. And that leads to Rush's next point.
FLASHING THE 'MORALITY CARD' IS COMPLETE HYPOCRISY BY THE LEFT
Rush said that the outrage of the Left is a complete sham, exclaiming, "All these people on the left and the media running around outrageously offended? They're not offended in the slightest by what Trump said! They're capitalizing on it. They're the ones that set up this permissive society! They're the ones who have shred the boundaries. These are the people that take money from people in Hollywood that produce some of the most depraved content we've seen!"
THE LEFT NEVER INTENDED THIS TO BE A FAIR ELECTION
Rush sees the release of this recording to be nothing more than a political attack by the Left in order to stay in power. He said the same sort of attacks were lobbied against Mitt Romney and would have been lobbied against Ted Cruz it he had been nominated. They would have made dirt up if there wasn't enough dirt already there because the Left can't trust voters to keep them in power through a normal democratic voting process.
THERE WILL BE MORE TAPES
Rush said to be prepared for more attacks, because when it comes to recordings of Trump saying crude things in the past, he explained, "there will be more, folks, do not doubt. If they've got that, they've got more, so steel yourself. That's the point."
Do you agree with Rush on this?
