2nd Amendment In Action: Man With Concealed Weapon Stops Armed Robbery

At 5:30 on Saturday morning, the unsuspecting patrons enjoying their early morning breakfast at a Waffle House in North Charleston, South Carolina got a rude awakening.  An armed robber entered and attempted to hold up the restaurant.

One patron knew that he had to act.  According to the Post and Courier, the patron pulled out his concealed pistol and shot the armed robber.  The robber was rushed to the hospital but died from his wounds.  None of the customers were harmed.

The heroic customer had a permit that allowed him to carry a concealed weapon and no charges are being brought against him.  A policeman on the scene praised the actions of the customer, “It says something about firearms… for good people with firearms being in the right hands.”

The customers and employees were grateful for the man’s actions.  “He saved us, that’s what he did,” an employee commented.

This story goes to show that despite deceptive journalism and political game playing, guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens are one of the best ways to ensure life and liberty.
