24 Years Later, This Incredible Olympic Moment Will Still Make You Tear Up

It still stands as one of the most incredible and emotional moments in Olympic history — that moment when British sprinter Derek Redmond tore his hamstring in the middle of a race at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, fell to the track in agony, got back up to stumble toward the finish line, and suddenly heard a familiar voice right beside him as the world watched to see what would happen next.

24 years later, right before the start of the Rio Olympics, Redmond sat down for an interview with BBC to recall the impact of that day.
